I’m headed to New York City with my sister this week to visit family and friends. As of now there is no particular plan in place other than to say that we want to relax, see a handful of “must see sights”, and spend some quality time doing the things that are uniquely appealing to us and our breed.
We’ll knock out a few museums, maybe a quirky restaurant or two, but mostly, we’ll just wing it. It’s not our first visit to NYC, so the urge to see EVERYTHING isn’t quite there. I think we just want to take it “easy” and just go with the flow.
Of course, on my last trip to NYC I said the same things and ended up wanting to see and do much more than I originally had intended! We’ll see how this goes.
Either way, one of the things about NYC that has always appealed to me are the unique stories about the people of the city. In a city as big as New York, it’s easy to forget that in all the enforced anonymity there exists humanity and a story worth telling in every single person.
More to come…
