I love this tune by Gary Clark Jr. It’s off his most recent album “The Story of Sonny Boy Slim“.
If you like The Black Keys, you’ll probably like Gary Clark Jr. They are definitely not the same acts, but my gut tells me they share a corner of the musical universe inhabited by like-minded folks.
This song feels old, but in a great way. It feels familiar, though it definitely isn’t. It’s catchy, without being poppy. Oh, and it’s just plain good.
