Here’s a fun video for a solid track by Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats.
Here’s what Consequence of Sound says about the song:
“Opener “I Never Get Old” is a romping, horn-driven affair with a simple message: Live and never look back. When Rateliff opens his pipes and howls, he evokes Van Morrison at his most charismatic. The singer is an absolute force, and it’s no wonder big labels came calling.” Read the rest here.
As for me, I think this song along with their other two notable tracks “S.O.B.” (NSFW) and “Howling at Nothing” play best loud, and sound more like the oldies we grew up hearing at home as kids than modern music. And that’s a GREAT thing.
