Our most important work is the work we do with and for people.
Yesterday I led our FIRST internally facilitated Prosci Change Management workshop, focusing our existing efforts in projects/initiatives on the PEOPLE side of change. I’m excited about what’s in store as we embark on these new journeys at the Alamo Colleges District.
It’s not enough to design the best system, the best solution or to employ the most innovative methods to help organizations move forward. To do so, we must ensure that we support and empower people every step of the way.
Change management is not just about improving the speed of adoption and utilization.
It’s about honoring the humanity of the people who work in our organizations, It’s about planning, making decisions, and taking actions that help people envision a future where they thrive.
Change happens one person at a time, and our efforts to plan, and work to this end will always be worthwhile!
