The Best Books I Read in 2021

I did a lot of reading this year, partly as a continuation of the habits I put into place in 2020, but mostly because reading truly reinvigorates me. It fills me with ideas and perspectives that keep me going and help me be the best version of myself. Sometimes that means “discovering” a book that was published years ago through a conference or recommendation, and for others, it means reading a book almost as soon as it was published. The result is always the same: time well spent!

These six books were just the right mix of impact and effort, meaning that they delivered on a great combination of ideas, meaningful stories, and useful advice. Each shaped how I approached life and work in 2021 and will continue to do so in 2022 and beyond!
