Choosing One Thing

Focus your efforts or risk spreading your time and energy across many priorities (and doing none of them particularly well).

Sometimes the most challenging thing in the face of demands that seemingly know no limit is to have the courage to say no. “No” in this case doesn’t give us permission to ignore the demands or challenges we face; rather, “no” declines to attempt to solve all of them at once.

Choosing to focus on the ONE thing is choosing to do what matters most now, and then doing so much more in the long run.
